Astronomy and references

These are generated photographic-style illustrations, not photographs of detected alien life. The named planets and host systems are real. Families, homes, moons, rings, climates, auroras and close sky geometry are fictional unless an accompanying source specifically supports a feature. Enlarged celestial bodies and translated wavelengths are identified beside the relevant pictures.

Numerical data and uncertainties use the saved NASA composite snapshot of 25 September 2026. Parameters may come from different studies; calculated values and limits remain identified in each science companion. Unknown is not zero. No illustrated climate or satellite configuration is established by the artwork.

Ten scenes were generated separately with independent prompts and reviewed individually. Four humanoid, four animal and two mixed households enjoy welcoming outdoor homes, meadows, gardens and shores. The editorial hardcover is excluded from the scene count.

TRAPPIST-1 uses enlarged stellar and transit disks; the binary eclipse at Kepler-16 is uncalibrated; HR 8799 e translates thermal infrared into visible rose light. The ring system at 47 UMa b, lagoon auroras at Kepler-22 b, all moons and all local ecosystems are fictional. The circumstellar dust at bet Pic b has an observational basis but its local brightness is artistic. No image demonstrates habitability or detected life.

The earlier dramatic terrain images are preserved separately as Alien Landscape Studies. This book follows the user’s family-home direction: greenery, gentle water, beautiful sunsets and affectionate companionship beneath extraordinary skies.

Kepler-47 c · Breakfast in Double Light

The moon, breathable air, home, food and family are invented. The parent planet is outside the frame. Both host stars are real, but their apparent sizes, separation and lighting are illustrative rather than an orbital prediction. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

TRAPPIST-1 e · The Meadow at Small-Sun Evening

The meadow, rivers, atmosphere and organisms are imagined. The red dwarf and transiting silhouette are enlarged and their alignment is not a forecast event. This is neither a calibrated sky nor evidence for an atmosphere, liquid water or life on TRAPPIST-1 e. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

Kepler-16 b · Shallows beneath Two Suns

Kepler-16 b is a real circumbinary gas giant. Its pictured moon, warm beach, atmosphere, biology, planetary colors and large apparent disk are fictional. The two stellar disks represent the real binary, but their local partial-eclipse alignment and angular sizes are uncalibrated. No habitable moon or suitable climate is established. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

Kepler-186 f · A Crown of Leaves at Moonrise

The giant cratered moon, lake, greenery, atmosphere, home and family are invented. The moon is not a detected satellite and its scale and phase are artistic. Habitable-zone irradiation does not establish a habitable climate; the stellar color and sunset are also interpretive. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

HD 28185 b · The Oceanfront Nest

The beach moon, ocean, vegetation, atmosphere, nest and organisms are fictional. The lavender-blue giant, fine cloud structures and smaller companion crescents are artistic inventions, not resolved observations. No satellites, habitable climate or stable satellite configuration are established. This is not the hot planet HD 189733 b. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

Kepler-22 b · The Garden of Quiet Lights

The lagoon moon, other small crescents, atmosphere, magnetic field, auroras, vegetation and organisms are fictional. The parent planet’s composition, detailed appearance and cloud pattern are not established by this artwork. Neither satellites nor a habitable climate have been demonstrated; the apparent scales and auroral brightness are interpretive. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

Kepler-442 b · Music beside the Evening Sea

The ocean, atmosphere, vegetation, family and two apparent moons are fictional. The large clouded moon, its point-like night-side lights and the small cratered companion are not detected bodies or evidence of civilization. Their sizes, phases and lighting are artistic; the planet’s bulk composition and habitability remain unconfirmed. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

bet Pic b · The House Beside the Star-Dust

The debris disk and planet are observed. The moon, liquid pool, atmosphere and household are fictional. The disk’s local brightness and warp are exaggerated; it is circumstellar dust rather than a planetary ring. No other planets appear as giant disks. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

HR 8799 e · The Cove beneath the Rose Giant

The young giant is observed through thermal emission; its visible plum and ruby colors translate infrared light rather than establish its naked-eye appearance. The tropical moon, additional small companions, cove, atmosphere, plants and animals are invented. The scene demonstrates neither stable moons nor suitable surface conditions, and its brightnesses and scales are artistic. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.

47 UMa b · The Meadow beneath the Rings

47 UMa b is real; the immense ice rings, all depicted moons, their orbits, planet colors, warm meadow climate, water, homes and family are fictional. Ring gaps and shadows are artistic interpretations of possible geometry, not observed features. No stable satellite configuration or habitable conditions are established. All life, familial relationships and technologies are fiction; no observed alien life or demonstrated habitability is claimed.
